Top 5 Girly Destinations To Visit This Year

Winter has finally arrived and you must be gearing up for a holiday with your girlfriends. Whether you are looking for a mad week of partying, some relaxation and tanning time, or fancy a proactive few days of visiting sites and soaking up the culture,

Here are some best girly destinations to visit this year:

Ibiza

This is a holiday spot for the party animals. Ibiza is Europe’s number one summer clubbing destination and is not for the faint hearted. World famous DJs fly in every season to play at some of the super clubs on the strip and will go on into the early hours of the morning. Pool parties, beach parties, super clubs–you won’t be short of nightlife activities! However, be prepared to face some hefty prices. Entry fees to some of the big clubs can be about $100, so bring more money than usual to avoid a shock when you get to the front of the queue. Luckily not all clubs in Ibiza are this pricey. There are much cheaper places to go along the strip, but don’t expect anything as glamorous as the main clubs; you get what you pay for!

Turkey

If you’re looking for a holiday to soak up some sun and have a week of total relaxation, Turkey is definitely a good choice. Places like Marmaris, Kalkan, and Bodrum in particular boast some beautiful, sandy beaches where the waters are crystal clear. Another Turkish delight is that, as they don’t use the Euro, it’s a fabulously cheap vacation spot. You won’t be short of nice restaurants and bars either; if you are into Middle Eastern cuisine then you will love Turkish food. And if you are looking for something fun to do with the girls, spend an afternoon at a Turkish bath for some proper girly pamper time!

Barcelona

This exuberant city is known for its many beautiful tourist attractions–whether that may be museums, parks, or cathedrals. You will be overwhelmed with things to do and see. The long boulevard in the center of the city, Las Ramblas, is a very popular tourist spot and is also popular with the locals. There are hundreds of shops, bars, restaurants, and cafes, with lots of street performers to keep you entertained. There are also plenty of clubs and bars to choose from, as their nightlife is electric. As well as priding itself on being a vibrant and busy city, there are also plenty of beaches for some chill out time. Tuck into some delicious tapas, sip on some sangria, and enjoy the best of city and beach life.

Croatia

Croatia holds some of the best festivals in the world, and there are several to choose from. Hideout, on the island of Pag, is for the mainstream clubbers that fancy partying on beaches and boats. Outlook is big on their bass and electronic beats in the city of Pula. Of course if festivals aren’t for you, take trips to the stunning islands of Split and Hvar. They are rich in history and culture, but provide some of the best beach clubs in Europe. And as a bonus, Croatia is amazingly cheap; meals tend to cost under $15, so you won’t need to worry about how sad your bank account will look when you return home.

Thailand

If you’re looking for a tropical holiday with a bit of culture shock thrown in, Thailand is your place. Thailand has attracted a vast amount of young people and backpackers over recent years, to the point that you will probably bump into people you know when out there. It is probably the most adventurous choice of holiday out of the ones listed above, and will definitely be an unforgettable experience.

You won’t be short of activities in the capital city of Bangkok. There are plenty of temples and rooftop bars to visit, but be prepared for severe levels of humidity–that means bring your anti-frizz hair product girls, because you are going to need it!

The paradise islands such as Koh Samui and Koh Phi Phi are well worth visiting for their stunning beaches. Koh Phangan is the most popular island to visit for its infamous full moon party–24 hours of partying on a beach with thousands of travelers, covered in neon paint; a night that has to be done!
